Our focus Countries
At the Resurgence Network for Human Rights, our work is rooted in solidarity with communities facing oppression, injustice, and violent repression. We operate across East and Central Africa — supporting frontline defenders, exposing human rights abuses, and amplifying grassroots voices.
Our presence in Canada also enables us to engage the diaspora, mobilize international advocacy, and hold global institutions accountable.
Below are the countries where we are currently active or focused, either directly or in partnership with local movements.
